I thought I'd be looking at all you guys sitting in a bar because you said the rain ruined it. Good excuse to hang out inside.
Are there names you could post to the pictures?

Man, I saw the rain coming into town & I thought, oh my God!!! But it looks like you all made the best of it. Wish I was there. Darn family obligations.

Nice pics, but can you tell me who is who there? Who were the other DPC'ers at the get together?

Nice pictures. It is nice to see the concentration on the people instead of the surroundings.

One thing though; while I imagine there were a lot of puddles around after the rain, the small dog is a poodle. ;)

(I fell victom to some indigestion!) Will have to do it again sometime. BTW, I am the nikon click one on pitsaman's page.

I'm going through mine right now. I just realized that I got dust on my sensor, so 90% of my shots have a friggin spot on them. ;-(

Let's get the next trip planned, so I can get some good shots, dang it.

I'll post some soon too. Still going through them. It was great meeting everyone, but the rain definitely spoiled some of the fun.

OK - I have some of my favorites up now at

//www.soasoas.com/april/gallery/dpcChicago/

I had a great time with everybody! I regret that I didn't get to spend more time with Tom, Danielle and Ken, but it was really fun meeting and hanging out with everyone else.

Very nice, Dave. How'd your shots turn out from our walk downtown Saturday night?

got nuthin'. Same with my Friday night attempt.

Your night shots looked great.

Serves me right for lugging a tripod around everywhere while you just went handheld and got such good images... :)

Thanks, I had quite a few that were blurry.

I'm sure your's turned out better than you're giving yourself credit for, though. :-)

If you consider blurry and overexposed shots "better", then, yes, I agree with you...

WOW!!! Looks great guys. I am now VERY embarassed about my camera. And am greatful I didn't tag along.. Would've looked sooo out of place. Thanks again for the invite though. Will meet up next time if I am sporting a better camera.

What's wrong with your camera? I admit that I wish mine didn't look like the point-n-shoot it is at times, but you are the one that matters!

It's not about the camera. It's about getting together and having a good time.
