I haven't voted yet, but did a look through and thought there were a few that would probably be dq'd for their borders. Anything ragged is usually considered clipart (psp frames, etc.). I've been dq'd for it in the past.

This is now a fait accompli.

100 vote check-in.
Been jumping up and down between 6.05-6.2, and seems to be fairly steady at this point.

Not hibernating, no, but busy gathering acorns (on his part) and building up body fat (on my part) in preparation for the long, cold winter of the heart.

Since there are some pros here with X ray goggles, I got new stealth technology funded by the US Government. At least the money spent on this helps stimulate the economy... it still has problems screening out the Zeros But with more funds allocated recently this should soon be resolved and everything will disappear. I guess it takes a hell of a lot of money to make you see nothing.

Can tell by the scores and the comments that it is loved by some and not so much by others...

my score has leveled off to a somewhat disappointing number, I didn't expect to to do fabulous in this challenge but maybe a little better than this. Oh well, crazy amount of views compared to votes, or maybe they are all like this and I just haven't paid attention.

Getting nice comments though

So I just got disqualified. I didn't even realize what I had done was illegal. In one of my three pictures there was a little bit of a hand showing in the corner of the shot. I knew cloning was illegal, so I duplicate the layer then moved it over to cover the spot and masked out the rest of the layer. I should have known this wasn't allowed. A newbie mistake I guess.

The picture wasn't doing very well anyway, so I guess I am glad I learned that you can't do that on this photo, instead of one that was getting a really good score. I would really be kicking myself if that were the case.

The hand probably wouldn't have happened if you were using a new lens, currently located in a box under your bed. ;-)

Now I'm just wondering if x=6 or x=7. Definitely a chance that x=7. :D

Not as wicked as a new lens on your camera would be!

How does this happen, by the way? Did someone actually ask for validation? How on earth would anyone know a hand was missing that should be there? Strange things are afoot. Also, can someone please DQ my complimentary colors photo? The score's going down so fast it's gone plaid.

This is an advanced editing challenge, therefore cloning and masking are allowed as long as you don't remove any major elements.

Lots of great comments. The ironic thing is that I have received more tips and suggestions for improvement than I have ever gotten on any of my much worse images. All of the comments are very true of course, I just find it funny that my higher scoring image is racking in all of the feedback :-P
