Another little story for you all. I take my lunch break at a local park when I am in the area that day. There are birds and insects to shoot if I have time. Today I saw what I thought was a Red Tailed Hawk flying above the trees so I got my camera out. I saw the bird was hovering and that it was an Osprey. It's the first time I've seen one at the park. The pond is less than 2 acres in size so not very large. I took a shot then the bird dove right into the pond. I was amazed at how loud the splash was. The next shot is of the Osprey struggling to get out of the water with it's catch. I was surprised to see the color of the fish it caught. It looked like a giant Goldfish or some type of Koi. Very brilliant in the sun! I was able to get a couple more shots as the bird circled with it's lunch and flew off to eat. The images are not awesome by any stretch. These shots are going to be memory shots for me. Nothing worthy of competition.

Took this today with my iPhone and was lucky that a freight train came by just as was about to take the picture. |

I have been neglecting the point and shoot SC a bit, but I thought I would post a quick p&s photo of my darkroom. I have been spending quite a bit of time there the past week. Not accomplishing much but having a heck of a good time.

I brought two P&S Fuji's and one of them got the screen cracked in luggage on the plane. : P
