Semen comes from someplace other than the testes? Someplace where the path hasn't been snipped?

Most of the liquid portion is formed in the prostate gland.

Wow, I'm going to have to find a cut-away cartoon. I always thought a side-benefit to getting snipped would be no more mess, a complaint of the wife.

One thing is shooting blanks - I'm OK with that. But another thing is dry-shooting. No way I would've agreed to that.

Sounds like you might need some bigger pants, routinely.

Fascinating discussion. A few years ago I drove in a couple to town, then back home, so he could get snipped (she doesn't drive and he didn't want to afterwards). He was in and out in 15 minutes. In the Doctor's office, I mean ;-)

My wife complains about the mess, when we get into certain antics. It doesn't bother me one way or the other. But if it worked out that I got MORE antics, I'd enjoy that. Not that I don't get as much joy as I can handle as it is.

You should see your doc about removing your prostate then. The only minor drawback is that you might become androgynous. But that might lead to different antics which you may or may not enjoy.

P.S. Art Roflmao: Don't encourage him. :)

OK, I'm back! The procedure went fine. Not bad at all. Very minor pain during things. Currently I have a bit of that nard pain that only guys will understand, but I'm sitting on my peas and I have some vicodin on the way. Time to pick up a book.

My sincere hopes for a speedy recovery of your nards.

Why go to the concert when you can just stay home and sing soprano.

Did the nurse have to flick it, or were you able to not get excited by thinking about baseball or something? Hope you're feeling better soon and I'm sure the concert is a go.

LOL...funny this should crop up...my wife and I were at a local store and saw these for sale...a SPERM BANK.

It's now sitting on our book shelf next to all the Christian reference books of my wife's. LOL

I've never gotten my boys snipped (I've thought about it), but the wife got her tubes tied right after our daughter was born.

Thought I'd give an update because it seems a few guys are watching out of the corner of their eye. Today is much better than yesterday. Put up with mild to moderate pain most of yesterday evening. Today not much at all. A small amount of tenderness, but sitting and walking is pretty painless. Swelling is down and things are almost back to normal size. Thought there might have been some mild bruising yesterday, but it hasn't seemed to develop. I don't anticipate much of a problem at all tomorrow.

Thanks for the well wishing from everybody!

This must be one of those things that is specific to the individual. Like I said earlier, I had the operation done and went back to work and truly did not suffer any pain worth mentioning.

Glad to hear you are on the mend Doc. Oh, did I tell you that I used to be very very religious up to that point, hehehehe

The only thing that qualifies you to wear a kilt is legs like hairy tree trunks...
