DrAchoo or

IreneM quality process in new creations. That's one of the problems here. What we have to do is encourage people try not only idea wise, but also quality wise as well.

Probably this is the first time I am seeing so poor quality images in this contest. Both technically & aesthetically except very few images.

I agree it's a macro/closeup contest but I am sorry to say most of the images are only closeup shots of some objects without any visual appeal, life in the photograph.

I agree but there are a few, well one in particular, that is both creative and well done. Also several well done overall. Sadly, yes, there are many that are poor (heavily cropped I imagine) close up shots, many focus problems and many still that have the focus but lack the surrounding or background. Will be interested to see the final placements.

Im not going to post my score yet, because it's too early. After I've seen all the pictures I think I'm in the top ten, but that's not what my score says, yet. I might be an idiot for thinking this, I don't know, but I really love my picture. But right now I don't like my score.

I created an image that I adore, I think it is technically good (though maybe not great), and rather creative (no bug/drop/flower). But although it started at 6, it's plummeting faster than Lindsy Lohan's popularity. At this rate, I'll be lucky if it stays in the 5s :-(
