I'll be road tripping this coming week, so I'll post some pics of kitschy roadside America.

I have been away since the DPL and just can't seem to get back into the swing of it with challenges. Thinking a side challenge may be exactly what I need to get back into the groove. Would love to join in...if the open invite still stands.

I warned you guys I was going to a dog show, and I took pictures of ... dogs ;-)

Back there again tomorrow insanely early; hope to get some comments in later in the weekend.

Bobonacus, I want to thank you for your welcome and for explaining how I can post my photo in this forum, did not really understand...its not you, trust me !! Where or how do I find the id # for a photo ? And while I'm at it, how do I post my profile pic and does it need to be certain dimensions, and should all photos uploaded be resized to standard size?

Thanks again for your kindness, sorry if I'm being ' a pain ', lol...

It is the trailing numbers of the web address in your browsers address bar.

It needs to be 90x120 or 120x90 pixels, and you can change it by going to the "my home" menu, then select "my preferences". there will be a dialog on that page to upload your profile pic

Bigger than 800x600 wastes your portfolio space, the exception being if you are posting an image asking for editing help, then it helps to post a large one, deleting it when no longer needed. Depending on what the purpose of the upload is, I usuall resize them to 800, 720 or 640 pixels on the long edge, and compress them to 200k or less in file size. Of course, for challenges, us the least amount of compression that you can and still fit them into the challenge limit of 300k.

Well what the heck is a Village Burner reunion without at least one wench! You guys are on rocket fuel or something. One day into the month and you already have four pages???? Good grief!

I am hopelessly busy these days, but LOVE this open sc. Make room on the bench, please.

I plan of designing a blurb book of landscapes and animals around where I live, not sure if it will sell but it should be fun regardless.

Here is the original resized and sfw if you are interested.

ETA: for those interested this is Sharp top mountain., part of the peaks of otter on the blue ridge parkway in Bedford, VA. It is about a 30 minute drive from my house. You can actually see the peak from the front yard.

Can I jump into the fray? I've been insane with work and life. This might be a good antidote.
