Easy there... nothing against your thread. I just wanted to make a point, not hijack your thread.

Sorry, wasn't trying to sound defensive, just offering you answers to the question I thought you had, and figured I could answer it better than someone else.

I do appreciate you start this one by the way. I wasn't aware of her situation at all, which is extremely sad for any person... Judi has a special place here (here I said it again) at DPC. If I want to improve myself, I would go check out her work and inspire myself (which I do from time to time). Don't get me wrong, there are many others, Judi is definitely one of them.

Omigosh! I was out of state and mostly offline for a couple of weeks, so I had no idea about your ordeal until the challenge was posted. I wish you all the best for a speedy and total recovery. Your work has literally been an international inspiration!

I went to physio again today and he is very happy with my progress. walking is improving and i can touch each finger on my right hand with my thumb. swelling is still not gone in hand but will improve. he encouraged me to say a word and i did with some difficulty. he says i can picture the word and see the word just can't get it out. he is organising for me to start speech therapy. when i was in the waiting room there was a book that looked familiar. i picked it up and read it was one of my books. i sat there for 10 minutes going through the pictures. iddidnt remember most of them. but the book was well handled so many must have seen it.

Judi, I can't imagine you not making progress, not with your spirit. I am so glad you are getting back your motor skills so well, but is heartbreaking that you don't yet recognize your own amazing work. But I am sure that will come back too, just give it the time it needs. Keep fighting! ((HUGS))

Judi, it's so good that you have all your photos to help you to reconnect with your past. Reading your posts, I can see how they will be very important to you as you heal and recover from this rough time. I hope that your children are adjusting now to the idea that you are going to be scattered out for a while until you get back to your version of "normal" again.
Did you see that the "Sunshine After the Rain" challenge is on this week?
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Just saw this now

Too many excellent photos to choose a favorite, most of them have been posted here anyway but I would like to wish you a speedy recovery Judi and I know you are a high voltage kinda girl so you will bounce back from this with a big cheesy grin... love and best wishes from the UK. xx

Hey Judi,

I liked most of your photographs and I felt very bad after hearing about your accident.
Get well soon and get back on you photography as soon as possible.
I know you will bounce back soon.

Hi Judi,

Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery, I was shocked when I read about your accident. By now you probably realise how popular you were here on DPC - And this thread is testament to that.

By the way, I've never liked alphabet books. Poor plot, little character development. And the zebra always did it.

I think it's absolutely fantastic that the kids are helping you with the rehab, it will draw you all even closer together, helping Super Mum get back on her feet. :-)

You just haven't been reading the right books.

After all, an angry aardvark? You can't get much better than that!

How did the wedding shots turn out, Judi? (btw, I don't know if you're spending more time correcting your posts, but your posts are looking so much better!)

Well, thanks for ruining the ending for everybody else! :)

Judi, we have been praying for you, your family and your doctors during this time. Your photographs are all amazing and I'm glad that I have a chance to look at them and be inspired. Get some rest and I hope you have a speedy recovery!

Well I was away having a little surgery of my own, when Judi decided to test if her head was made of wood.....Girlfriend, there are easier ways to test these theories! She is recovering well, and on the plus side, I've won all the arguments this week, I just unplug her computer when she starts getting antzy... :) We successfully photographed the wedding...... She came out for a few hours, and she didn't quite explode with frustration, but came close, and of course we got the shots...
Judi is on cloud nine about the challenge announced in her honor, and the amazing support that she continues to receive from you guys.

Looking good! Thanx for the updates, Brat and Judi. We have a hurricane headed this way, so I amy have some "after the rain" stuff to toy with :-)
