2008 we worked for a few weeks on it, you did the voice compilation and I did the music. Art made Godzilla images (He put the whole thing together) ;-P

It was good fun. :-)

Am soo sorry to hear about your wreck. Hang in there kid, I know it's scary. I got kicked in the face a few years ago that required 300 stiches to put my face back together, and for weeks I saw everything upside down, and like you also double vision. It clears slowly! When your on the recieveing end it seems way tooo slow! Sending up prayers to a fellow horse lover and picture taker!
I do so love to gander at your photos!

I like the "young brain" part too. The good report about the MRI gave me a smile. : )
I too was sort of scattered out for a good while when my head got knocked. I am sending you all the extra patience that I have available.

I'm a relative newby, but glad to hear the results of the MRI. My thoughts are with you and your family that you will have a full recovery. Keep positive thoughts.

This one has been posted already, but it's one of my favorites of your many creative images.

Ooooo I am so glad to hear the news. I have been thinking of you a lot in the past few days hoping things are going to be good. We have never met so I unfortunately don't have any memories to share to help jog yours. Ever since joining the site in 2006 I have always admired your photos hoping to one day be as good as you. Hugs and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Awesome news! I am so happy for you and your young brain. You've been on my mind a lot lately as well as tons of other peoples minds. I'm sure there is going to continue to be a collective sigh of relief as more people find out the good news from your MRI. Now praying for a speedy recovery. <>

Judi, I am so glad to hear this excellent prognosis - still sad that you are still struggling and going through this rough patch, but the recovery WILL come. It is going to take time (and patience) but you will get there -you are a fighter. Sending sunshine and good thoughts your way.

Judi, so happy for you that the prognosis is good. Thank God!
Take it a day at a time and let us know regularly how you're progressing. That would be great.

Thankyou Irene. I started physio yesterday and he is very happy so far. He isn't happy about the the lack of speech or the curled toes but he agrees my brain has shut down areas to allow others to repair. He doesn't feel speech therapy can help me yet. they will probably turn me away until the swelling has gone down. so he reassessed me and starting working on my neck and after wards was the clearest i have been since the accident. it felt good to be awake. still had memory issued. a friend came that i hadn't seen since the accident and i had misplaced memories. i did remember her with laughter around her..so that was a start. hubby has taken to editing the spelling mistakes on my posts so people can read it better.

I will literally kiss the sky for you.

Get better soon.

Here you go Judi - sounds like it might have helped! Great news from your MRI!

I took the above picture (or had a friend snap it) from our camp at Tin Can Gap, this is a shot of the actual summit.

I'm really glad you're doing better, but I wish he wouldn't do that; seeing the "mistakes" is as close as we can get to viscerally feeling what you're going through, and watching your improvement as communicated through the lower frequency of "mistakes" helps us feel connected, and helps us cheer you on.

I don't think any of us are having any difficulty "reading through" the mistakes to what you intended to communicate.

Hang in there, teammate!

In full agreement with Bear here, Judi. Bless Damion's heart, he only wants to help. But as Robert said, your mistakes help up keep track of your progress. So don't be ashamed. You're Judi.

I had physio again yesterday and feel a bit steradier on my feet. today i am meant to be shooting a wedding. the couple are special to me and booked their wedding around my availabillity. they have been very understanding and damion is taking me to see their wedding. barb is shooting for me. i wont be staying long as i tire so easily. tonight is multtiucltural festival. i was meant to be photographing my aboriginal dancers but cant. i have been told they are going to do a dance just for me there. so i will sleep before the festival and damion will take me their with children. i have been practising simple words from a golden book alphabbet book. last night i did four words. i am determined to beat this thing. memory is still whacko. i remembered things from this morning but not last night.

Judi, I am no brain surgeon, but I do now that you can not over tax your brain it will be over stimulated and will produce slower results. You have to let your noggin rest, so take it easy girlie!

It's good to see that you are interested in getting out and around. Just that the desire to go is there, is a good thing. People will be very happy to see that you are not confined to a bed somewhere in a hospital. I hope that you have an enjoyable afternoon with your friends. I have an idea that your shutter finger will be very twitchy at the wedding since you are going to be there and not be the one shooting it.
