Can anyone please tell me why GIMP saves and doesn't save the color profile in the properties of me edited images? I am trying to get test prints done through WHCC. They sent me an e-mail saying that the color profile is missing from the files.

When I right click and go to properties on the pics I sent and look in the details, I have nothing in the "color representation" of the image info. GRRRRR!! Yet when I right click on some other pics I've edited I see sRGB in the details. I've checked through countless pics and see that some have it and some don't. This isn't making any sense to me.

I've opened the files that don't have it and assigned the sRGB profile (though it's automatically defaulted to that in GIMP) and saved the file again. Only to find it is still not in property details.

I'm sorry if I've ran on and on with this. I'm just to the point of pulling out my hair. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
