Here's my outtake :) Loved this image, but the subject matter would have gotten me murdered..

ENTRY

after further review

i didn't do well on this and really not sure if it warrants a second look. i was pressed for time when entered and didn't look through my previews closely enough. does anyone think i picked the right one here or does it even matter?

My entry did very well (earned another AlmostButNotSix!):

I don't think ("that's right, Alfonso, people don't think.... from now on we use our indoor voices when we talk on our mobiles" - Lance Armstrong) that any of my outtakes would have done any better, do you?

You do have to admit I did manage to get quite the variety of options, though! I do enjoy shooting for challenges. I just don't usually do it very well according to voters. :-)

Would any have done better ?

You definitely picked the right one, in my opinion - it's excellent! Who cares if the others would have done better or not DPC-wise? The one you entered is by far the best photograph.

While taking pictures at the sun flow field, I started talking to another photographer. I let him use my 50mm 1.4 while I took this picture of the bee with his 100mm macro. I definetly have to get one of these. The only reason I didn't enter the bee was because I had the other idea stuck in my head. I guess I'll never know if it was a good idea or not.

Thanks, I thought so too, but it's definitely not for the general DPC public :-)
