After 50 votes my score was 7.2 now it is at 6.7 and falling like the stock market. got 2 fav's and 4 comments. But not exactly pleased with the consistant downfall of the score.
Not going to lose any sleep over it however because I understand that is just the way things go. Sure am glad I kept my 25 dollars this time around though.... When this challenge is over I am taking a long and much needed break from DPC.

If it's true for you it's true for most other hopefull people here. When you said earlier big knock, I thought it can't possibly be as big as mine... I am disapointed yet still thankfull for a 6.5+ score with this. It remains however disappointing when you have been hovering above 7 to go down like this. Im spoilt and should just be thankfull for the gift (nice voters) of an above average score

huh... sixpointseven (in a FS!!) and you are not so happy?
What should I say that i have only 6 six (lower 6) in 23 challenges? (and the people pay for my shots here in italy!) ;-)

Im happy but I have hit 6 in free studies before, I have raised my bar. Thought I had a slight chance at getting a personal best on this one but now I am not even sure it will hit the top 3 the way things are going.

Though not anywhere near a 7, my score has dropped over 0.25 in the last half day taking what I thought was a solid 6.2 entry down under a sub 6 score. I also am thinking of taking my ball and going home after this challenge the voting roller coaster
has been getting to me more and more these days.... |

Holding in the 5.7-5.8 range. I'm pretty happy with the way this one is performing.
I see a few folks unhappy that they have dropped into the high 6's. Yes, it always stings to drop like that (I have another entry in the high 6's right now that has been as high as high as 7.84), but you have to look at the big picture. Average scores measure overall popular appeal, but they are NOT the be all and end all to determine if it was a successful entry. Did you make a strong connection with anyone? What do the comments suggest about how people are perceiving the image? Look at the whole picture. |
