Really disappointed because it was over 6 until yesterday.

The title "Glow!" is what I thought is written on her arm, but looking at other shots I think it reads "Be Glossy" - whatever.

I dislike minimal editing challenges. :)

Lynn, if this crystalized futuristic punch card building had been entered in the recent Negative Space challenge, it would surely have been a viola or cello.

Hi Rich! I am partial to cellos, and this was a candidate for that challenge. But DPL is all about team work and my team picked differently so this poor building sat under construction a little longer than anticipated.

I was one of the culprits of the DPL team. Not "blueprint" enough for me. I said back then: would work for me only if there would be no greys. It look like an overexposed shot instead of a sort of architectural calligraphic planning. Is probably my professional deformation view

Disappointing because it was almost consistently over 6 for the whole week.

Another disappointment. This one didn't drop below 6 the whole week. Well not until after I went to sleep last night.

Another one that was over 6 all week, dropping hard in the last few hours.

Like Gina, I had hopes for a 6 until the last day. I want to enter this in a monthly regional camera club competition and think the softness of both flower and moth might hold it back - though I do think it's pretty sharp where it counts most. I have since sharpened the moth further, though, and hopefully it will pass.

I think this is my first photo to be included in this thread that also made it to the front page.
