Challenge Suggestion: Natural Light Black and White Portraits

Take a photo of a single person in a natural lighting situation. Your final image should be in black and white, or any duotone combination that you like.

I like the idea.
But when it is accepted, I think it would be wise to tell people that a portrait does not mean that you have to do a close up of a face, but that the whole body can be included in any environment as long as the person is your main subject. That would also encourage people who are to shy to take close face portraits.

That would be an interesting challenge.
A careful and precise definition of "natural light" would be be adviseable.

YES, YES, YES. That´s the type of photography I just love - Black and white portraits. Natural light is splendid, than we can´t just go into the studio, put the camera and the lights on their usual places and shoot. We will have to go outdoors or at least near a window. But there will probably be some shots taken with artificial light and that looks natural.

I think black and white with natural light would be an excellent challenge.

Hah! I bet D&L are reading this thread saying "Yeah, we could do People of Color -- take a photo of a person, but it must be in color and really mess 'em up!"
