I was just wondering myself where he and Slippy were. Not like them to miss a thread like this.

He's probably filing this thread under the Bovine challenge...where he is working diligently with the shovel to put all the bull***t in ORDER!

True. The bump was to quote myself as a reminder.

I think she may have left.

Well, considering this is the first time I have ever posted my opinion on a challenge, then your description doesn't really fit. Because I am, most of the time, not "devoted" to my own opinions. As far as prejudices go - I don't have any. You either take a good picture or you don't...you take one that goes with the theme or you don't. Thank you by the way for proving that you had to consult a dictionary to figure out the definition of "bigot"

Hopefully the last time you post with your "potty mouth". Hate to think what else goes in that thing. By the way, who peed in your Cheerios this morning?
Thread you started is a perfect example of why sites lose good people -- the trolls run them off. Also, I know my photos mostly suck --- but everybody can't win all the time.

Not the best challenge entries, I have to admit I agree with OP on that point, but the quality is good and few shoehorns:)

As for OPs time on the site, well I suppose a year is a long time if you count really slowly. OP hasn't entered many challenges but does have a nice big camera so must be an expert:) Patience and tact are virtues, it costs nothing to be polite. Hopefully OP has run out of nasty tablets and taken some happy pills now.

Thankyou so much.

No no - thank you for entering the challenge so that I could give you my expert opinion.

I was first trying to decipher whether or not this comment was made sarcastically, but after reading through this thread it doesn't appear that way.

There is no need for the witch hunt and to bring into question on what equipment the OP has or how many entries or length of time here.

The girl has had her say and stood up for herself, I admire her for that "potty mouth" and all.

Her opinion might differ to your's, so what! get over it! and move on.

No no - thank you for entering the challenge so that I could give you my expert opinion. Because, obviously, if I don't like even one of YOUR precious photographs, Judi, then I must be a complete hack. I was DEFINITELY saying that you overall as a person and photographer must suck all the time because of the one image I didn't like of YOURS. Get your head out of your ***. If you think that because I didn't like one photo, that I don't like the rest of your work or I am not up to the standard to opine on your work, then you really are a photo snob. I love your work Judi - - and I obviously didn't like this photo you did. Considering I didn't know it was your photo I can't believe you would be so personally offended. Get over yourself. I make one comment about a challenge and everyone is going ****ing crazy. This is nothing but hilarious on my end. I love too how all the "popular kids" like bear music, and vawendy and judi and yo-spiff are the ones the most pissed off. It is just like high school.

haha!! I haven't read the rest of this thread yet, but I had no idea I was pissed off. I simply stated that perhaps they were shooting for the description and that kids have been told to line up in order. I thought you'd be interested in a theory of why people entered what they did. I have no stake in this. I'm in chaos. I think it's all quite funny -- because I actually agree that it was a weak challenge, but I was just throwing some things out to think about.

I think it's probably the only time in my life that I've been at the popular table. Life is good! :D

So you slag me off for mentions a few facts about the OP and then don't have the balls to admit it?

The OP can have an opinion, but I am not allowed the same. Get over it!

I do agree with the "these entries are mediocre in terms of meeting the challenge." Let's discuss that.

No entries may be discussed during voting!

We could discuss make-believe photos in a make-believe challenge. I bet we can argue over anything if we put our minds to it.

I would argue over imaginary pictures with out-of-the-world facts. But for now I have to get back to work:-)

"meeting the challenge" is a subjective topic. In absence of set guidelines, its the voters that have the ultimate power, and a perfect way to exercise that power is by voting, and not by starting rant threads. I have never seen an image DQ'd because they did not meet the challenge, precisely because there are not well set 'rules' that we can 'validate' an image against for DNMC;-):-)

If you would still like to discuss that, please feel free... I have been there, its an endless debate.

Oh I remembered...my coffee is calling me.. gotta go..sorry:-)
