I saw a similar suggestion but never did find out if it was done or not so here it is.
Challenge - First Entry
Recreate either your own first Entry or another members first entry.
The Title should refer to the original

i'm sure i've learned to much by now to recreate such dross.
(checking latest entry) no wait...i'm certain I can recreate a 3.8

Well we hope to improve over time so it should be better, of course if you go by my trend I seem to be pretty close where I started lol.
Oh and it doesn't have to be your own first entry, it can be anyones first entry |

lol my first was a plate of peanuts!! So Im glad we can do someone elses!! sounds like fun and like a learning experience!!

Re-create my first entry....That might be difficult because I took a pic in Baghdad of a tower....I don't think that I am going back there any time soon and we don't have alot of bombed out towers here....lol

| I'm thinking we should refer to the original in the title, and make the score more biased toward improvement. That way, I can find a first entry that scored a 3 and whoop serious ass with a 5-worthy image ;) |

My first entry was terrible, but it still got a 4.9XXX

For someone bored enough the submission anynomity might be breakable if you have to do your own first image.
I like the idea though. It kinda shows how you've progressed as a photographer I guess.

Just click on their profile and under it is a section "Challenge Entries" Just click on the last page and the last entry will be what they entered first. So if you go to my page, look at challenge entries, go to page 6 (page numbers will vary depending on how many challenges they have entered) and you will see my first entry "Full moon rising" |

Hmmmm... this is a hard decision. I liked my first entry, and I could make it better, but when the shot itself has no wow factor, do you do it and try to improve, or do you go after someone else's shot that has a better chance of doing well?
