Hi all,
Does anyone can recommend a good store for buying camera gear (canon) in Honk Kong?
maybe even stuff like second hand?
i was thinking to buy the 50D and L lens..

There was a place down by Star Ferry a few years back. Not sure if they are still kicking.
I actually found the majority of camera stores in HK to be fairly pricey. If you are just visiting, it may not be a good place to buy.
Second hand stuff is often difficult to come by here in Asia, the Chinese are not big on 2nd hand goods.
I'm afraid my info isn't great since I'm just in TW. |

Hi,
I buy all my new stuff from Man Shing Camera (G/F, Shop 106, Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong).
For second hand stuff I recommend looking around Simcity (47-51 Shan Tung Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong).
Personally I would stay away from Stanley Street in Central and camera shops in Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui (TST).
Click on 'Lens Price List' to get an idea of current prices Prices in Hong Kong
Suggest you do your homework on prices before heading to HK.
