At least you know where your fear comes from. Mine of snakes? dunno. I saw one in my in-law's backyard one day. It was HUGE. Like 5 or 6 inches long. (hahahahah) I ordered my husband to kill it and went back inside. My MIL asked if i was okay, and I responded, "yea, why?" Apparently, I had gotten completely white around the mouth and was about to pass out. go figure. Makes me shudder ot think about it. Maybe if we are ever in teh woods together, I'll protect you from spiders and you can kill all the snakes for me. :-)

PS -- if you ever go to Honduras, or somewhere else that has certain tarantulas, I can tell you how to fish for them. :-)

Karma...I'm not sure if I posted about spiders or not...I really really REALLY don't like them. Even the site of them...pictures of them.....but thanks for thinking of me..lol. If I had been able to get close enough to one this week...maybe I could have submitted that. (I mean a pic of me getting close to one, the look of complete horror and fear would have been great)

Snakes are great..I like snakes. Mice, too....I even touched a giant cockroach at a science museum the other week...the kind that hiss? mmmm...lovely.

I think it all stems from being stuck out in the woods one night with my b/f with only a flashlight and a lantern. There was this huge spider that fell from a web in front of my face...and my b/f turned on the lantern to light up the area and all around us were these huge spiders...dropping from webs from the trees. He literally had to put his arms around me and guide me out of the woods with my eyes closed while I hyperventilated...lol. I was frozen, I couldn't move. It was not a fun experience.

So there ya go..more than you ever wanted to know about my fear of spiders..lol.

Are you the one who posted in the forums this week about spiders? If so, I was thinking of you as I looked at the thumbnails. Spiders I can handle. Snakes, well that is a different story. Have a good week! ;-)

I've just taken a look at the thumbnails for fear. I have a few great fears in my life. Tornados, high bridges and SPIDERS!! The thumbnails of the spiders are enough to give me chills when they are small. I think I'm gonna put off voting on the spiders for a while :)

Karen

some really interesting shots.......btw, it's gonna be fun voting.
