How do you know that is not accurate? :P

Well I've seen her in this picture and it doesn't indicate anything but a normal woman.

Clearly that was a radioactive Princess Leia costume she was wearing. :) And I noticed you dodged my question about her nakedness.

Hahaha! This is one of the very few times I have laughed out loud at a post here. Whatta link!

You object to a woman with five (partial) breasts? Have you seen this particular woman naked- maybe content aware got it right. :)

The Content Aware video has now been added to the CS5 Launch Site. I'm thinking it's pretty much a sure thing at this point.

You will find that it (that feature which I'm not allowed to say) will have it's place, but it's not the be all, end all that so many people think it is. Cool, yes. Put thousands of retouchers out of work? Not even close.

Oh, fabulous. I can start with a single green pixel, and have content aware create a beautiful photograph for me. I can sell all my gear, and I'll never have to leave the house again.

This is more along the lines of my thought process too. We're getting to a point where we don't have to worry about getting the shot right to begin with, ever.

Lazy, lazy, lazy.

I tried downloading it, but I can't get it to work.

That's pretty close to the "make it better" button ....

pretty sick examples.

I tried the GIMP a long time ago and really found it difficult to work with. Maybe I should have another look.

Anyone heard the retail price on this yet? I was going to order Lightroom 2 as soon as the trial ran out but may splurge on this instead.

Haven't heard, but I am hoping the price will be "economy aware"

Hmmm... ya'well... As long as you didn't use "Adobe" and "economy aware" in the same sentence. :P

LOL! The stock photo agencies aren't going to be thrilled.

I don't know why people think it's so hard to remove them now because the're not. If you're good with the healing/clone tools there's not a watermark out there that can't be removed in about 5-10 minutes.

Speaking of which, the guy in the video wasn't even using the healing brush correctly, which is why it was leaving those artifacts. I assume he did that because he wanted to hype the Content Aware Fill, which did look impressive. However, I would love to see what the edges looked like where it connected with the original pixels because I'm guessing on more complicated images a lot of manual retouching will still be needed.

Wow, you're right.
That will make removing them pretty easy.

I saw the headline and thought this was going to be about Content Aware Scaling which is already in CS4 but this is a much more impressive and powerful tool.
