I knew it probably wouldn't do well due to its abstract feel but a sub 4 finish isn't quite what I expected.

ETA. I did get more 1's then the last place finish and actually my most 1's received in a challenge to date so I guess there could be something to say for doing that.

"Thoughtless" scored lower than "In cold blood"? You're kidding! I'm stunned! I really liked thoughtless. I gave it a 7.

Well I went from a 3.95 to a 4.74; that's almost a full point!

I am looking to end up with my lowest score to date and that is ridiculous considering the crap photo of mine that currently holds that title. I know this entry is 100 times better then my lowest scoring cold entry.

Just finished my first round of scoring. Gotta go back and do a second run through and some commenting. BUT...I can say one thing...there wasn't one shot in there, in MY estimation that was worthy of under a 7! That may make me overly generous or stupid, I don't know but, I cannot see the LOW scores that are being handed out in this challenge! Not one of them are worthy of a 1 to 4 score as far as I'm concerned.

So, here ya all go. Hope my scoring gave everyone a bit of a very much needed boost because they all deserved it! :) And, if I'm considered a "Troll" for high scores...at least I'm a "Gift Troll" LOL They truly all deserved the scores I gave out. :)

You have rated 137 of 137 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 1 images (1%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 9.2336.

ETA: Forgot to add my current score :(

I guess I wasn't wrong to stay out of the challenges for so long. *sigh* And I may be able to make my goal of it not being my lowest score, maybe. I've had a tough day, and this doesn't help. (But misery loves company, so it's good to know I'm not the only one taking a beating here!)

I hear ya, Donna! Had a really BAD day myself and this is making me want to take up drinking...either that....or CAMERA SMASHING LOL

So, gotcha beat to the Brown LOL. :)

Think I'm kind of getting pegged into the 4 and 5 bracket with 6 and above being a faded dream now. Ohhhh....Once Upon A Time.....I had 6's.....but, alas...they are no more. :(

gotta do better then that if ya want the brown.

I know how you feel, Jeb. I was *really* happy for about three hours yesterday when all three of my submissions were standing at 6+. Two of them may have staying power at that level, and one should end up on my profile page, but the score for my "parallel" image has dropped back to sub-6. It was fun while it lasted!!

Evil, pure evil. And so funny. As long as it happens to someone else.

You have given an average score of 1.0000.

...and...

You have given an average score of 10.0000.

I was just having some fun with the scores thread, knowing what it's like when voting starts and the votes have such a large impact on scores. Hopefully nobody is too upset with me. My votes are final now :)

You little snot!.!.!.! :) Actually I think it was quite funny, I've thought of doing it, but I thought it would be more fun to get about 15 or so people to do it synchronized.. That would wreak real havoc... Then again, I'd probably worry too much to actually execute that sort of thing, so.... *shrug*..

-Cheers.

I've got a feeling you're back up again (I was as high as 4.6 breifly, lol, not back to 4.4)

I finally got a couple comments - one liked it (said she gave me a 7) and the other didn't tell me what he gave me, but said that it was "expected" and had nothing to say. So mid-4s seems about right.

I still need to wait before voting - or this will color my perceptions. Not as badly as yesterday, but still... lol

So, if your own entry is bombing with a 4.2, that means the whole scale gets lowered, because your own is doing poorly? Everyone is entitled to vote how they see fit, but I prefer to vote every entry on it's own merits, not compared to my entry, nor ranked against the rest of the field.

I have to agree with Steve. What does how your image fares have to do with the execution of the other entries? You should always judge images on their merits, not against yours, nor anyone else's for that matter.
