i'd have probably given it a nine - i think it's terrifc, colours are superb, a tripod is an amazingly underused theme this week. it would have been more likeable maybe if the top leg was bent further to the top, but that aside, this would have been my joint-second highest vote.

WOW! Thanks. I'm not really very good at picking shots to enter.

I ended up with something totally different. Probably for the best considering how badly my last cactus picture did in "Textures".

To boring to enter.

Three pine cones

I entered a different photo that I thought was better, although it is impossible to predict which would have received a higher score.

This was one of my rejects. Can you see the "3" in the coves? I had a lot of fun with this challenge. I hope everyone else did too. I know that now that it's over, I'll see "3's" everywhere.

Wow, that's amazing. Here's a similar pic that I was going to submit but didn't:

yeah. I had trouble deciding on which image to submit too... this one kept on nagging at me.

Transmission error loading the shot. I lost connection and was too lazy to reload it.

A tornadic thunderstorm with 3 towers. I was afraid the "3" was not obvious enough, so I didn't submit it.

yup merecats at the oakland zoo. They were watching a plane cross the sky and looked quite worried about it.

BTW, I'm a sucker for good animal shots. You would have got high points from me on this one.

These are meercats, correct? I love them! My husband and I once watched a documentary on them that was like watching a film saga. It was so beautiful. We could learn a lot from the social behavours of these bright little animals.

Here's one of my 3's rejects. I don't think it is clear enough that there are three blossoms. It probably would have done better in the Centered challenge then my actual entry. LOL!
