In Munich you got to ask for "a Halbe", then you get the eqivalent to a pint :)
it's half a liter.
a liter would be "a mass"
If you want to attract attention, you order "ein kleines Bier", which is 1/4 liter.
People will start smiling.
< usually reserved for kids ... aehmmm small adults ... ;) >

Well, Jay was asking the price, not the volume. The closest to a pint that can be had easily in Germany is 500mL though.

It depends on whether the Germans would use the full size UK pints or the smaller American pint.

Closer to 564ml I reckon... but very difficult to find in Munich. Damn those metric types!
