There is no censorship, subtle or otherwise. You are a troll. I don't need your permission to close this thread, it was just a general suggestion to all on this thread. If I could, I would offer that you and DPC part ways because all I have seen you do here is troll, and its tragic in a comical way.

You probably have a very high opinion of yourself and the discussion you sparked, but to be honest, the discussion yeilded results despite you, not because of you.

Good night and good luck.

I'm surprised it took you so long? It was way down the list and was fizzling anyhow.

Thanks for bumping and grinding.

You crack me up with your subtle censorship.

Go ahead.

Anyway, I apologize if I was inappropriate.

OK, this side-show is now over. Back to the discussion on a code of ethics.

That would have been preferable and, IMO, more ethical.

refraining from sending such an email would have been, as well

Sheesh, Nuzzer. Now we can’t even have private PMs? That seems a little radical and selfish to me.

Perhaps it was also unethical for you to post a PM in a public forum?

Nuzzer can report the PM directly to the SC (and it certainly seems like he should)

I didn't report the PM. It said nothing that hasn't been said in the forums or on my image already :(

I just think that if you are going to abuse someone then it should be done in public. It was also the first negative PM I've had.

I disagree. Sometimes its better to NOT air dirty laundry in public.

Have SC members misled the voters? And if so, does it help validate the need for a Code of Ethics.... or at least something to help keep everyone more on track?

Yeah, that was a silly idea. I asked SC to remove my posts and those you made on my unrelated images. I just get pi**ed off at PM's like yours. Either keep your mouth shut or make your comments in public.

The irony, of course, here as in real life, is that when we stop conforming to one side, we are, by default conforming to another. Sheep if we do; sheep if we don't.

alright, you've taken a number of peoples ideas - including one of mine - as being a fair resolution to your issue.

1: be more specific with the challenge guidelines. ie: don't have challenges that aren't capable of being backed up by EXIF.

2: Bear_Music and his simple statement that ( it seemed according to your follow up ) summed up your goal.

3: work on a code of ethics - that it seems - is a failed effort.

which would you choose ?

---

you seem very capable of picking and choosing what you want to hear, yet expect the rest of us to hear Everything you have to say ( and yes i am quite aware that we can't 'hear' anything you say... ).

you want respect ?

you want your idea to come to life ?

open your ears.

Oh I'm sorry, you misunderstand, I do not really care to earn your respect and "my" idea coming to life is a non issue. For me, this place is sorta like ....... pretend??

I'm just pushing to see if the sheep will stop whining and push for a change so we don't have to deal with the same lame issues over and over and over and over again.

That is all, and apparently, something may actually come out of this. Whether it is from me or someone else, something needs to happen because the site is losing credibility over this repeated nonsense.

Hopefully Robert's idea will actually kick in and be referenced every now and then. Wouldn't that be wonderful???

So while some choose to ticker at the keyboard swooping in like gulls and picking at the idealists on this site, some entertain themselves by trying to initiate action.

Some of us will stick their arms up the cow's arse to birth the calf while others will whisper lullabies and let the thing die.

So joust with me, cleverly negotiate verbal strategies, energize the pasture with titillating syntax and smite the demon for disrespecting the breast which feeds you.

Come to think of it, the calf's head is sticking out, do something as I'm done with this project as far as I'm concerned.

[Scratches arse again]

Oh BTW, I have the IQ of a hamster. Thanks for walking me through your phrases as I'll never be that clever.

i find it somewhat conical to be honest.

- man - why do they put M & N right next to each other ?

or just a conical thread?

BTW - 'putting' was an intentional typo...

i'm merely using the same thread tactics you seem to enjoy employing to both miss the point, and create some illusionary point of your own.......

Larches shed their needles, so technically, they are deciduous conifers. Not true evergreens.

"Thread tactics"? Am I now a forum Ninja???

Way cool.

So happy we deviated way of course. This ethics thing is SO BURDENSOME!!

I am curious to know how you would arrive at that conclusion that the image in front of you in voting could indeed be Nuzzers. All entries are anonymous. Does this then mean that you will troll vote any & all entries that contain images of water, young children, landscapes, HDR, birds, insects, cats, pregnant women, photos taken in other countries or the lowest of the low; a beach scene just on the off chance that you might just deliver a low vote to the person that ticks you off at the moment?

Right, unless his 47 Steps entry is DQ'd... or 47 Steps are taken to prevent that sort of dishonesty. Or maybe 48. 49 would be expecting too much, I suppose.
