Yeah... I'm SO behind on this side challenge... *sigh*

But, I'm enjoying everyone else's work.

ETA: Oops... I just remembered that the image I had posted might give away an image I have in voting... so I removed it. I'll put it back after voting.

I took this a bit ago, but knew it would give away my identity in the Straight challenge so waited to post.

Oct 1 - I took a couple days off and went into the woods Oct 1st. This little guy was climbing up a wet mossy rock and would NOT hold still. The crop choice is reflective of the chase.

Oct 1.5 - Looks like I had two good shots from that day. I'm actually incredibly thrilled with this one. I can't get over how awesome the background is.

Let's keep posting, but I agree it is very difficult to shoot daily, actually more difficult to get the images on the computer and processed! Kids, homework, bedtime, diapers, bottles, dinner, bath, oh yeah, talk to my wife, etc! As LydiaToo says, life is good!

Did someone mention me?! :)

I'll try to post a bit... didn't know you all were going on into October. I love shooting macros.

Oh I'm so happy to read that this may be continuing! Have missed the past couple weeks while on vacation.

I haven't exactly kept up with this for September, but as Roz said, more insects are appearing here now, so I'll see what I can find. I've also got some shots related to a current challenge, so when that's finished I'll make use of them here.

Sounds like we have a few folks interested in continuing.

Matt, can we change the thread name? September/October, or something to that effect?

Fall textures up North and the spring bugs down under. Sounds great to me!

I really like this shot. It was so tempting to put it in for freestudy, but I went with the one that's been entered for the last 2 weeks. But I do really like this bug...

anyway, I don't know how often I'll get something, but I'd continue in october.
