I like this version the original because your edit got rid of unwanted clutter and still framed it using the rule of thirds making for a more pleasing photo.

I dont really like the fence at all, I really dont think it adds anything to the photo. I love the lighthouse though, its a fantastic subject and shot.

I prefer the horizontal composition. It gives perspective to the image.

Updated comment suggesting different vertical crop.
