Are you wanting to do your final edits in CS3. If so, you don't need to export. Just right click on your image and go to edit in-->edit in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

In the External Editing tab in my preferences, the setttings are:
File Format: PSD
Color Space: ProPhoto RGB
Bit Depth: 16 bits
Resolution: 300

Edit: I'm using Lightroom 2

What is the best professional export setting in lightroom? PSD or Tiff before exporting to photoshop cs3
