Working fine for me now. I like that you include a choice of Flash and HTML. Both work smoothly and as expected. Good work.

Ok, Tate, I just took a quick glance around and here are my enitial reactions:

Home page
It's very simple. You may want to add a photo or two to this page if you can as it looks a little too clean. A great photo on this page will make your guests want to see more.

Flash Pages
I like the clean look of these pages. The pop out pics and scrolling is neat. I can live without a next button.
I would probably add a "contact us" link on these pages along with the "main" link
See bug below

HTML Pages
This is what you expect with HTML. Nothing fancy about it but thats ok. I don't think you need the "HTML version" text on there though.
On both the flash and HTML pages, the links to return should either say "main" or "back to metate.com" Right now the flash says "main" and the HTML says "back to metate.com"
Again, should probably have a contact link on here as well.

Here's a bug I just noticed:
When I click on your link, the window opens up as a small window and say I click on the photo samples flash page. When I move my mouse, it scrolls all the way to the left photo (City at Night) and all the way to the right photo (Wine and corks)

Now say I expand the window to full size, I lose all scrolling capabilities. It's just stuck in whatever view I was just in.

I'm at work today, so when I get a chance, I'll pop back on and look some more.
Hope this helps.

Thanks.

I have revised it a bit on the main page (added HTML versions).

metatate.com

THe portfolio pages are build using Lightroom Templates believe it or not ...
so there's a limited amount I can customize.
I'm still using Lightroom 1.0 but this is very limited and to amke things worse, Lightroom neglects to save the setting for each group of photos that i make into web-pages (if I change templates, the old one reverts back to its original settings).

ANyway, take a look now and let me know what is the most annoying and or wonderful / horrible things about it.

Thanks.

I do get the "Loading images" text for a second or two though. Not a big deal to me.

I understand it's not finished, but when I click on a pic to make it enlarge it, there is no "next" or "previous" buttons. Are you going to add these? It's kind of a nuisance to have to close each pic then open another one IMO.

Both worked fine for me. I'm running Safari on a Mac with Leopard

Both links work fine for me. Tried both latest firefox on XP and latest Safari on OS X. I didn't have access to a slow network, so I cannot provide any input on how fast the sites loaded.

First link works and looks great. Second doesn't seem to want to load. (or maybe I have ADD.) Running Firefox latest version.

Work fine for me! I'm also running IE w/latest adobe flash.

Same results as rmezzo.

You may not care, but Safari on an iPhone still doesn't have a Flash Player.

The portfolio page works fine and is quite quick.
The photos page keeps freezing halfway through.

I'm running IE and my adobe flash is updated.

1st one is okay - not too slow for me. The second one doesn't seem to load fully. I only got a few photos my first try, more my second. It never becomes interactive though like the portfolio page (is it supposed to?)

Great images, btw.

These 2 Flash pages ... visible? Super slow?

metatate.com

is the web-site ... I'm not quite ready for full-on DPC critiques because it's still unfinished.

Thanks
