Just a tad. By next year she'll be taking pictures of you in the pumpkin patch! ;) I love her "stem".

So does that mean this year's have her sitting in the pumpkin? I hope?

Yup, I'm gonna post tonight when I get off work!

I love it :D One year my daughter and some of her theater friends went carolling for trick-or-treat, suitably garbed. People were rather surprised to get a Christmas tune in 3-part harmony in exchange for a treat!

Man, this is the bestest holiday; the fun of Christmas without the stresses :D

A bunch of silly friends having fun sounds pretty accurate :) Last year we went as Futurama:

We have a lot of themed dress-up parties throughout the year, we're a fun crowd ;)

Lol, that must have been a lot of fun. What was it for? Work, school, a bunch of silly friends just having fun? :)

Where's Waldo?? We have one real Waldo in this. I'm the one on the far right. We're doing it up again tonight!

ETA: There are two other DPCers in this pic too!

Okay, I'm bumping this one last time, because I'm sure there are more with photos from last night than have posted. Come on, guys, I want to see what YOU got up to on Halloween! :)

No decorations here, I didn't have time for it this year and only 1 little gal for trick or treat .. except she never said a word .. I threw 3 candies in her bag and she ran off (she was probably about 9) (mom and dad on the sidewalk) .. Halloween is not what it use to be for sure!

Ahhhhh.... and now I can stand on my back deck and watch 3 different fireworks displays at once... I love this holiday... I love this house! :)

It's been a very good day :D

Yep...made the coffin, broken down fence & gate way too. I just remember I didn't board up the windows this year..dang it. It's priceless seeing these little guys come up so tentively. I have a storm window door that half the window and screen comes down, when they come up they think I'm behind the glass so when I reach out to give them candy it scares the crap out of them. I’m real careful of the real little ones, I'll take off my mask so they'll come up all the way...Lol. Just a big Kid I guess.

I dig the guillotine ace! Did you make it?
10/31/2008 11:52:45 PM · #18
Okay, I gotta build me a guillotine for next year. That looks too cool :D

Sigh... we live on a cul-de-sac midway down a hill, so nobody bothers walking to get to us, dammit.

Beautiful night for Halloween. Slowing down now. Must of gotten over 150 kids this year. Had a blast. Here are couple shots with the lighting.

A few crappy night shots, because I was too lazy to dig out the tripod. Didn't have very many kids, only about 25, and all but 3 were teenage boys. We only had ONE preteen!

Lol, we were giving out small containers of Play-Doh and suckers. Hubby figured only little kids would like that but the teens were all, "SWEET! Play-Doh! Who doesn't love Play-Doh?!" One didn't want suckers, just Play-Doh.

There's a website on the net called Beedogs which is an entire site dedicated to people dressing up their pooches as bumblebees, there's a whole community of beedog lovers. Had to see it to believe it.
