I guess I called it right. 16 of 83, nearly 20%, are Little Red (Cap) Riding Hood. Still, there are some really great shots in there through the whole challenge, and it's interesting to see different interpretations of the same title.

Up to 82.

Inspiration struck a mere hour before rollover. I can't believe I pulled this one together so quick. (I am going to get SO creamed in in this challenge!)

I bet they are good ones though. This is the type of challenge that brings out the artists.

68 entries and less than 2 hours to go... =)

I'm very happy with mine, but if people still vote like they did last year when I played... I'm done for! hahahaha

Good luck to everyone! I'm so excited to see everyone else's shots!

Heh. Now, when I sent you a PM I was hoping you'd shoot FOR the challenge. If you shoehorn something and then beat me, I'll drive over to Germany myself and throttle you! ;)

I always say that it's better to enter than not bother at all if you have a shot, my shot though is pretty weak and kinda boring. I dunno whether to enter it and take whatever crappy score I get or to go back on my rule and just not enter. I wish we'd had longer to submit, another 4 days and I'd have had something wicked.

Low scores.... here I come! lol

I went with the safe, very familiar tale... already has been mentioned in this forum... lol.
I'm too much of a newbie to try and do anything outrageous or terribly creative!

I really can't wait to see everyone's entries! So excited for this one!

Going for the familiar tales is a little too safe in my opinion.

Getting out of that box gives me another drive to grab my creativity again. That's more important than pleasing the voters because they know the tale.

My understanding is that the image can interpret the title and/or the tale. No need to Wiki the title.

Same here: really, if the image says it all and the viewer doesn't have to guess at the story, then that's great. The title is creative and has the story in brackets that covers all bases.

Mine is a WELL KNOWN tale and straight down the line and has the title as the title.... not that I intended being conservative when I set out to take the shot. On reflection however it is a "safe" submission.

I don't know how fantastic my idea is, but I'm just a procrastinator -- I'll be shooting tomorrow (as usual) ... ;-)

You can enter until midnight Sunday EDT. That is, between Sunday and Monday.

There are only 29 entries in this contest and there is only one day left......does that mean tomorrow is the last day to enter or voting starts tonite at 12? Im confused!
