That cover with those photos is to pretty to be a phonebook!!

The local phone book cover here is always a photo from a customer. They run a contest for it every year. They don't pay for the photo though. Since your phone company is asking you for photos, they might compensate you a bit, but I wouldn't expect them to put up much money.

I've been on cloud nine all day, because the new local telephone directory arrived and the cover features four of my photographs!
My photos were selected for the cover because I work for my county's Chamber of Commerce, and the local phone book rep asked really nice for some local photographs. I obliged, as I saw this as a rare marketing opportunity for me.
I made sure they included my bio inside the book, and they did a very nice job.
If they ask for more photos next year, should I ask them for payment? If so, how much?
