The reflection shows part of my front yard and driveway and street....including my kids and myself.

:-)

Btw, a friend of mine looked at some comments people leave on photos. His reaction? "Jeezus, people on that site need to RELAX!"

EDIT: Congrats to togtog on his free membership. Cool idea, Judi.

Exactly....and it has me thinking that maybe Langdon can run a bonues challenge where you have to make the viewer work out how you did the photo. And everyone who comments on ALL the entries goes into a competition. The one who works out the most entries correctly wins a gift membership that they can keep, donate or whatever with! It would encourage both the photographer and the viewer and the comments!

That sounds too much like hard work - not relaxing at all. ;-Þ

I am pleased tnun. I was hoping it would break the monotony around here with all the bickering and make it a fun way to learn a little bit more. Oh and citymars....I thought you may have been...but I wasn't jumping to conclusion...I know how tense it gets around here after rollover! ;)

Why should you get special treatment? :-p

I am NOT special.....but I am making the voters think about the image a bit more...and then it may help some of them realise that things may not always be what they appear!! If that helps people vote correctly and learn in the process...then what harm am I doing?

Judi, I was joking! My jibe wasn't directed at you, it was mocking the ongoing frustration over voters who don't give reasons for their low scores. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Heh! That's a pretty darn clever trick, Judi! Sometimes the best shots are the unintentional ones. Very cool!

And we have a WINNER!!!!!!!!!!

Well done togtog...I will PM you with your membership!

BTW...the bulb did not break when it hit the concrete....damn thing!!!

I will say now...that JulietNN was soo close in another thread when she spoke about her lightglobe not breaking when she hit it with a hammer!

wow - thought someone would've nailed it by now. I feel like we're stuck in that game - "The Incredible Machine".
You used the hammer to set off one of those construction nailguns (used to secure 2x4 framing into the ground) next to the lamp ?

The bulb is resting on a piece of wood or something that is resting on the lamp casing.

You throw a hammer at the piece of wood to knock it off releasing it's grip of the bulb.

So basically,

Lamp casing with a piece of wood on top of it, and then the bulb is fit onto the wood. Hammer is thrown to hit the piece of wood as you take the shot of the lamp about to fall to the floor.

Ahhh! but you said nothing is touching the bulb! >:[

The bulb was in the lamp as it would normally be to work, prior to the capture....there was no wood around! LOL!
