I am so pleased for you Judi, as you really do have some amazing talent.

You inspire so may here at DPC and for that we thank you.

You are quite unique, with your photography and technically brilliant.
I love your ideas, and also the professionalism in which you go about your work.
I am in AWE of your amazing portfolio, and also the way you you share your technical support to others.

You are also a wonderful parent, and we love seeing photos of your family.

Thank you Judi, and you deserve all the medals thats possible.

Forget to say the most important thing and that is I am so glad you are a 'TRUE BLUE AUSSIE', like me and all the other DPC Australian photographers.....

Wow Judi, that's great! I must say I think you're one of the most inspiring photographers on this site, and I'm really not surprised that you do so well with your pictures. Ever since you beat me by a hair's lenghth (is that the saying?) in the 2006 Roads challenge I have seen your pictures getting better and better. The way how you combine pictures with words and events is very effective and special. Congratulations!

Thanks Wazza and Polly. I just found out that I have been nominated for a Regional and Community Achievement Award. I doubt I will win...but just to be nominated was fantastic. This was for the book that I wrote on the floods back in January.

Trevytrev and Bosborne.....I didn't know that and I am truly flattered...thankyou. I know I haven't given out a membership in some time....so hopefully I may be able to in the next 12 months and be able to help someone else enjoy this crazy profession as much as I do.

Emlbaker and Dave.....Thankyou so much......now I just have to start racking my brain with some more images for next year.....I have one series already building....but hopefully some more will come to hand.

WOW. You have to be proud of yourself there Judi. Very highly regarded awards and a very deserving photographer. Chalk it up to your experience list and keep getting better and better. Lets see a win next year. Always a pleasure viewing your work.

While not a paying member here at the moment, I have been in the past (work is not being kind to me at the moment and I dont have the time to spend here as a paid member - will be again though) your work keeps me coming back when I get the chance to see what masterpieces you have created while I have been away with work.

Thanks for the inspiration to strive to better my work and for providing some great pieces to view when visiting this site. I will always be waiting to see what you produce next.

Finally, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

I finally joined AIPP late last year. I was fortunate enough to jump the levels and go straight to an 'Accredited Full Member' on my first application. I was sponsored by a Triple Gold Master and the State Manager. When they viewed my application images I was told that my work was the best he had seen from an applicant in his 30 years of membership. I was flattered.

So while that was all well and good, I was still a bit uncertain going into the APPA awards. I was going up against the best of the best. The Rules and Conditions were extreme, with everything measured down to the millimeter. I was aiming just to get a half point from one of the 4 images that I was allowed to enter. But instead I got 2 Silver Awards, giving me 2 points towards my Masters. I was stoked. I believe my two images will be published in next years book and today I will find out if either of them will be included in the Travelling Exhibition. Here is the link for the Category Winners to give you an idea of the quality of the work that I was up against.

I now have to concentrate on getting next years entries underway. But for now....here are the two images that did well for me.

- Silver, Illustrative Category.
- Silver, Documentary Category.

This all happened while I was overseas, so it was a nice surprise for me.
