If you are sure it is the new OS version then that is a great price. I paid more than twice that at the end of last year. I usually always have this on my camera and it is a great walk around lens for me. Well...I wish it did macros better but the OS is a fine trade off.

I can buy this lens for $250. Wondering if anybody has thoughts on the lens and the price.
