Hey everyone,

I am up late tonight, can't sleep, and trying to figure out which one I like best.

#1 seems like it's missing something. i changed the font for the final one, but the "missing thing" was what I added in the next one

#2 i took other pictures from our session, and blended them into the background, to fill up the space, but still have the main pictures as the foreground attention grabber.

is it too much? the text on the full 11x14 print will be big enough to read, on here maybe not so, but just wondering what you all thought? it's one of my first attempts at collages, so you will not hurt my feelings.

like it? love it?

any and all input is greatly appreciated:

Picture #1
Picture #2

Thank you all so much! again, i'm after honest opinions. thick skin here :D

I like the second one. It blends in much better. Well done.

I'll chime in for #2 as well - works better. I don't know about the teal color - I know you are matching the necklace, but it's almost too loud to me - wonder if you could mute it / desat it a little bit. Also not a fan of that font, but just a personal nitpick - it's one of the default windows cursive fonts and overused and abused over the years. I would find something a tad more elegant and unique.

Or not.

Still a good job in putting them together. She will likely be happy with either, I'd wager.

Hope that helps.

edit: I was referring to the font in #1. I didn't realize you used a different one in #2, which I like better. Still common, but better.

Number 2 for me also. I really like it. You did a good job.

I like the way that you've included all those other shots in the background of the second one. It actually took me quite a while to spot that, you know.

By the way, is it only the way my mind's working this morning, or does anyone else think that the bottom-left picture looks like she's carrying a fence on her shoulder?

i like the background of #2 best.. with #1 font ...

adn yup. Mr_Pants, it sort of does...but it looks like she's having a riot carrying it

i definitely like #2 best, but a few little points - nobody is one word. the images in the background work, but the one under the Love, Winnie is very distracting - all you can see is her eyes peeking over the words.

Same with me, the second one seems to blend better...

Number two: it's the white space does it for me.

Yup Number 2 is the one... it's subtle and works well.

thanks everyone, #2 it is!

any suggestions on font? i like the 2nd one's font, but just curious if there's anything out there that is 1) easy to read and 2) would work well with the given theme of love and all that mushy stuff ;)

thanks!

Go to www.dafont.com. Lots of free fonts, I like the handwritten ones.

No.2 is the one to go with, but i would change the font you have.
Other then that go with no.2

no.2 is nice. Not sure about the font. And the picture reminded me of the great Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

I got a 2x4 of my right shoulder!
