no, no. really. thank YOU. :)

and thanks to CuJee for organizing and Yanko for the banners...it was a fun ride, even if we did bomb after the first week. LOL

It was a good time, and kept me shooting, which was the goal. I also got to get to know a few people better which was also a good thing.

thanks for a great 8 weeks everyone.

Yes, please. I'm no Olympian, but I sure enjoyed watching.

I'm still holding out hope on DPL2, perhaps you could do DPL 1.5? ;-)

I like the national team aspect of the DPC Olympic format. Am interested to see how the DPCO2 will differ DPCO1.

Also keen to take part in DPL-2 (or whatever you get to call it)... the more involvement I have, the better my photos should get (or that's the theory anyway).

Another thing I'd like to see is a DPC Fantasy League. Where members (and/or RU) can pick a team of photographers to a fixed budget and see whose team fairs best each week. Photographers value would be based on an average of the last challenges entered... their value would rise and fall as they enter new challenges... participants could also buy and sell photographers based on the upcoming challenges and who they think may do well... also, there could be a few substitute photographers on the team who would automatically be substituted into the team in the event one of the starting line-up of photographers didn't submit one week. It's very much a copy of the English Premier League Fantasy competition run on the Premier League website.

Only thing with this type of competition... doesn't get ME taking photos... and the software needs to be developed. It is a good way to get the non-camera people on the site involved a bit more though.

There is talk that there will be one in July but alot of people aren't going to do it again because of the rules.

I thought about holding a challenge simular but not call it the olympics.

If I do one it will be more like the DPL and I will see about calling it DPL-2
