i actually like the Classroom in a Book series... they walk you through a project, step by step, so you familiarize yourself with lots of different aspects of the program.

Try PhotoShop CS3 for dummies. I have the one for CS and it has lots of great info in regular English, lol.

Last week my 15year old broke past my password protected computer, set up a hidden account, and went looking for some game cheats. Long story short, I turn it on, and immediately get 50 popups, so I start trying to dig out whatever monster is in my computer, about 20 minutes later I get a call from Charter asking me why I am sending thousands of E-mails. Oops sorry, unplug the internet, restart, and press F11.

So I spend several hours deleting programs that the fine people at Microsoft think you should have, and reloading the things I use, including Elements4. About 24 hours later (give or take) I receive a E-mail from Adobe, “Psst hay dude we will sell you the good stuff for $300”, Well hell I already know the good stuff costs $400 at the cheapest place I would trust to do business with online. So I send them some information and 15 minutes later I have something loaded on the computer that almost looks like what I have drove before, in like it has 4 wheels like a Geo compares to a Corvette.

So in essence what I’m looking for is a owners manual. I know my way around the English language but techie talk puts me to sleep. Does anyone know a recommended Chilton book in blue collar speak, so I can drive this thing.. ; p

Thank You
Alan
