Grats Limbo on that blue - nicely done.

I'm out of the country at the moment in Delft....got my camera here but my wife made me leave my tripod at home (anti distraction) because I'm here to work not shoot. I've not got any pp software on this laptop so I'm not really able to do a lot for the olympics for the next week or two...sorry...but work has to come first on this...

Quiet week in here.....

How are people getting on for submission this week?

I've got something for landscapes, but hope to reshoot it tonight with some improvements. Worked on it till 1am this morning after about 5 hours at it. Maybe the most time I've spent setting up a single image. Hope is does well after all the effort. Got to be soooooo careful with the setup due to basic editing.

yeah definitely... thinking we might get a bit of a bump if we are both in the 6's - any other high scores for this week?

Yeah I'd say so.

With the DNMC challenge I'd err on the side of caution. Shift to the blue for cool or shift it more yellow for warm?

Not been too motivated this week. Will try to shoot something tonight and enter.

Sorry - i think my inspiration for last week went with the Blue - kinda all my mojo went into getting that ribbon or something and couldnt get anything to enter. Anyway i have a strong entry (imo) for cool colours... i'm so confident it will do well i'm not even going to ask for opinions ;P

And i mentioned Hubris in that Mac OSX thread... hrmmm =D

Maybe check - green is a cool colour no? even if it is slightly on the yellow side? or should i make sure it is on the blue side?

The Icelandic and Polish teams are bricking it for sure :)

EDIT: And one of my comments is "are you the guy who shot his penis". I think it was worth it just for that comment...

lol @ you all.

I think this photo's quite pertinent about now...

' . substr('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/0-999/734/120/579021.jpg', strrpos('//images.dpchallenge.com/images_challenge/0-999/734/120/579021.jpg', '/') + 1) . '

It's a train.

To which the only correct response is "So what's the best settings for my camera to photograph an oncoming train?"

Nope, the correct response is 'I think using a remote would be a good idea!'
