Morning or in some cases Afternoon. I joined about two weeks ago to the site. For the past three years taking photos has been my hobby and passion. Once I found out about this site I thought it would be a good avenue to express myself, learn, and show some of my work. The talent on this site is amazing. I hope to learn and climb my way higher though learning from everyone here, and the turorials having as much fun as possible in the process. I have spent the last week and a half taking as many photos as I could to fill up my portfolio even entering in two challenges. If anyone has the time and could look over what I have so far to give me pointers on how it could have been done better or if you enjoyed them I would really appreciate it.

I also have a question if anyone could help. Is is allowed in a advanced editing challenge to use the clone tool to remove fishing wire?
Thank you very much for your time.

Welcome! DPC is a fun place! And yes cloning out fishing line has been accepted in the past and I would say you are safe but to make absolutely sure you can go to the help menu and submit a ticket to the SC to review your editing steps before submitting to a challenge just to be safe.

Have fun!

My answer is yes, assuming you're using it to suspend something and it's not a mojor part of the photo. I did something similar to suspend a chicken in a photo and it passed validation in Advanced.

...and welcome to DPC!

The real answer is that there is no answer. It depends on the picture. Waz is cocky because he got away with cloning out a forklift. One of the truly great DPC achievements...

Hi, my name is Brandon. I have a "problem" with digital photography. I'm addicted to the sound that my camera makes when I press that shiny little button on top. Thanks for having me here......blah, blah, blah.

Oh, I'm sorry. Welcome to the site, Jorge. You'll love it here; we have a lot of fun.
