Come one someone, please bump me up by .0030, that will put it at third on my profile page. It's been up hanging over 6.4 all week then yesterday dropped all day to a 6.33, then back up to this. Hoping to see it go up some more today.

Here are my first two:
 - Scored 5.2
 - Scored 5.3
The comments from other DPC'ers gradually helped me improve.

First entry was Textures II and a whopping 4.2434
Things did get better though, just did Textures V with 6.2874
Like your attitude and if you stick with it things will only get better ;)

And I thought I had it bad. Thanks for letting me know, makes me feel much better. Perhaps DPC should require that people pass a color blindness test before they are allowed to vote.
You have to remember that all monitors are not set properly. What one sees over another can vary greatly. If you're getting comments like that often it may be your monitor settings. If you only get those comments once in a while it may be the voters monitor. At any rate check your Gamma and calibrate your monitor. Then all you need to worry about is folks that haven't calibrated yet. You'll be set for most of us anyway.

So that's my problem! I assumed the voters would appreciate some nice subtle yellow colors, especially if the title brought attention to the yellow parts of the photo. | I don't understand it, great positive comments but hovering around 5.3. I thought it is a great studio pic. I tried to do everything right this time round. Expected nothing less than 6 as I believe that this is the best entry I've ever made. Come on... What do I have to do to impress?!? |

There are also some very lovely shots that dont have any yellow as such, brown , orange and brassy are not yellow to me |
