These files can be opened with internet explorer, right click it and select "open with" and select internet explorer

do you have the flash player installed. if not, just visit the macromedia web site //macromedia.com/ and download the player. they have a player for all web browsers/platforms

In Linux I can just drag the swf file into a web browser to view it. I'm pretty sure that works in Windows, so it stands to reason that it works in OS X, too.

As far as I know, Gen, .swf will run in respective Flash apps, but is not viewable as stand-alone file on the Mac. Others may know more...

Hi i just down loaded files with extension swf , its written shockwave flash object , how do i view it,
