Hi people. I got a EOS 400D (or XTI Rebel depending on where you are from) for XMAS. It was supposed to be a twin lens kit with EF-S 18-55 & 75-300 lens. Im sure many have seen this kit.

Instead of the 75-300 lens I got a EF 90-300 f/4.5-5.6

My original question was is it worth going back to the store to swap for the 75-300.

Also, for an extra $200 OZ or so I can get the 18-55 IS and 55-250 IS kit instead.

I am thinking of paying the extra for the better kit since they gave me the wrong lens anyway.

I know there is 50mm less range but Im sure that the IS kit will give me better quality. I also like taking photo's at concerts and such.

Ideally I would have the body only and buy better lenses but it was bought in kit form already. Also, Ive had a 4 year break from photography and never used an SLR before so the kit may still be useful to me.

Any suggestions on course of action.

Cheers in advance.
