A new personal best for me. I am so THRILLED! Totally unexpected. My previous personal best was just barely over 6, so I think (hope, pray, cross fingers, toes, etc.) that this score holds.

WoW. And with the exception of one that is in a language I don't speak, they're helpful comments. Most are positive (not all of course). I'm just shocked at how many there are. |
I hope This thread is helping to generate comments that people may not have gotten otherwise.

Score keeps going down but the comments keep coming in. Some like it a lot and some don't.... can't please everyone though. It started at 8 and then just kept going down. Still not a bad score but I wish it were higher. |

not circular, just the way it is. people either take a newspaper subscription or they buy one every day OR the headline or frontpage photo grabs their attention enough to make them pick up the paper and buy it.
fwiw, the arguements about title vs description have been going on for years. even though the final scores will bear out how the voters interpreted the challenge, you usually know within the first 20 votes as to whether or not your interpretation fits the mainstream interpretation. if its votes that you're after, you need to consider what the mainstream interpretation will likely be BEFORE you enter...
that being said, as for this challenge, it's a shame the description referred to magazine because magazine cover is a challenge in and of itself ;-) |

I'm still on shock over this one and I've only been checking the score once a day - in case it's all a dream! This is by far my personal best and I'm thrilled - but still scared it will somehow plummet into my usual mid-5 range.

So far, I am jumping out of my skin. This score is the highest one of my photos has ever achieved. If things stay as they are...and they wont, I expect it to drop, I'll be looking at a new personal best, and I am happy with that!
