This is the kind of thing you'll find in my garage. If I submitted it, I hate to think how man people would say "doesn't fit the challenge".

GoldBerry you have a Garage in Calgary? I don't even have a Garage anymore....That sucks! I just moved to a new city and I am in a small apt. and I don't know anyone here so I guess I will have to sit this one out!

My garage beer fridge needs a heating element to keep my beer from turning into beersicles, it was 9F in the garage the last time I looked.

Since my husband lives in his fully equiped with full bath and kitchen added rooms, and a big screen tv with stereo and sound, a small couch to lay back on, bar and pool table, I visit the garage just to see him sometimes!
But this last time I went out there I got a little shaken up about what I saw and wondered how was I gonna come up with garage art if theres a possible victim or victim to be!

If yall want to come and help me figure this one out hehe we'll have a party too!

This challenge says "Garage". How about visiting a car garage in your area. There could be some interesting shots of garage art there.
I don't think it has to be a photo of a garage you personally own.

I always figured that if I couldn't remember where the beer was I didn't need any more ....

How about if I live in a high-rise building? Can I just go into our undergound garage and shoot there? It looks like a giant underground parking lot though. Is it a stretch?

There is not much there to photograph anyway and it's dark and spooky. I might get mugged there... Maybe it's not such a good idea.

Personally, my imagination isn't as elastic as it once was.

Like I said before -- you don't have to take the picture "in a garage". It is just supposed to be like the Office Art or Kitchen Art challenge where you just have to photograph objects that you might find in a garage in a creative composition.

For example, brownt's entry from the "Still Life" challenge would be "Garage Art":

or willem's entry in the "Tools" challenge:

I think the challenge is pretty wide-open, since I've seen lots of different things in garages...

*makes mental note* Wear work jeans, keep camera cover for in between shots and get blanket to cover beer fridge.

I may use it with the meaning of "automobile repair facility."

atleast we don't have much snow 'yet'. ... the only crap we have is weeks and weeks old but the city won't plow anything so it just packs down and becomes a skating rink when it's -30. Great....better sharpen my skates and work on my double axles.

I just spent the last couple hours shovelling over a foot of snow from my driveway! More to come! Dunno if I'll make it to the garage for this challenge!

Seriously, I don't have the type of money it would take to own a garage around here.

I'm in danger of getting heat stroke if I spend too much time in my garage. It was 80F in there at lunch time...
