You'll definitively end up in the top 100 images for the challenge. Can't be that bad.

It might be pushing it, but the people who read the description might give it to you - thinking that you VALUE nature or the environment or just the mountain/river/forest/whatever that appears in your shot.

After all, part of it says "... to anything else that makes life precious."

Just try to make the title ambiguous, lol.

I'm not saying that you'll SCORE any better, it's just that's what we'll see proportionately ;)

I loved your hummingbird shot! (Can you shoot another just like it for sillouettes? lol) The only ones I scored higher were a couple bugs (one by DrAchoo) and the clothespins.

Thank you! Unfortunately, my hummingbird feeder is 1700 miles away so I'll have to do something else for my silhoutte :)

My first thought when I read the challenge description?

Wealth can mean a lot of things from money to loved ones to anything else that makes life precious. Photograph something that communicates "wealth."

Oh, look. An open free study.

My current entry is doing so poorly that I may not enter this week at all. Have to see what ends up on my camera this weekend.

No, there will 80 of cats wearing diamond-studded collars, 80 of flowers in an expensive vase, 80 insect macro shots that need the title to make it fit the Challenge, 20 shots of stars rotating in the sky, 40 face shots of grandchildren under the age of 5, 20 babes in skimpy (or no) outfits, and 20 shots of "ruby-throated" hummingbirds. In other words, it will be just like any other DPC Challenge.
