Anyone for a Philly/South East PA GTG?

Last night's photo walk was beautiful and fun with nine people attending. If you have not been to Fitler's Square and the surrounding neighborhood, check it out.

And whoever was asking how TINICUM is....its a hole! I worked there for 2 years (off of 291, across from the hotel) and its just a swamp.

I'd be interested in any location within a moderate drive of the city. I was at the last GTG here that took place over at the Aquarium in Camden. It was my first GTG and I had a great time and enjoyed meeting fellow DPCers. So count me in. Any suggestion about a date? Within the next few weeks? The next couple of months or what. Maybe we could find out which weekends wouldn't work for people and go from there.

Eastern State Penitentiary is open until 8 pm Wednesday nights. Morris Arboretum is open until 8:30 pm Thursday nights. Chanticleer Garden is open until 8:00 pm Friday nights.

Other ideas: Schuykill Banks (sunset and twilight walk), Woodlands Cemetery, Laurel Hill Cemetery

I don't like Tinicum all year round lol. For me, there's just nothing but polluted waters, and too many bugs. We could do lancaster. Camera club is doing Jim Thorpe in october for foliage. You of course know you are invited rob.

We could do an ESP g2g. Perhaps an artmuseum area g2g. I dunno, im runnin out of places to go around here that I'm not sick of lol.

I've only been there once and that was in the dead of winter....what's Tinicum like in Summer? Just been to Longwood and that's hike....going back in August sometime....I have not been to the zoo since the big cats came back...ever think of Smithville, NJ...and we never did do Lancaster, PA, did we? Just some thoughts.
