It looks like our final count is 26! Feel free to start shooting for the first week of the tournament! I just got home from a baseball game (it ran very long), but I'll do my best to get the brackets posted by tonight (30 May).

Regarding the private thread: Since this is a "side challenge" not run by DPChallenge, there will not be a private thread; however I have traditionally started a new thread to announce the bracket matchups, and announce each week's results there as well. That thread typically gets used as a trash talk and cheerleading thread as well.

TIME'S RUNNING OUT!

We're up to 26... we need to get AT LEAST 32 for the tournament to run.

Signups will end, and the tournament will begin with tomorrow night's rollover. If you've been putting it off, time is running out!

Come on people, come join in, if you are in the DPL you would be entering anyways, and if you are not then this will get you to enter some more challenges, its a win win situation. BumP

it has not started.

It won't start until brackets are set up, and a start date announced.

i think whenever we start it will be the challenges that begin AFTER the competition is officially started.

so only open challenges are the only onea that count, right? and are we starting this week or waiting another week? I have nothing yet for open challenges, so if we are starting I'd like to know soon so I can throw something in. :)

and don't forget, you could get put up against me in the first round, which guarantees your advancement.

(Although, the first year, I placed 6th in the first week's challenge. Unfortunately (for me, good for him), my opponent, soup, placed second.)
