Here's my updated story. Since this thread had died out, I didnt think we had all that much interest. I have since committed to transport a car from Florida to NY, leaving there on Friday morning. I'm not sure exactly when I will get back to NY - prob Sunday at the latest, depending on who I stop to see. If this happens and I am back I would love to take part.
So I can't definately say that I can make the zoo thing. I would be glad to continue to help organize it, but Im leaving for Florida on Thursday. |

No monkey challenge but we are looking for a volunteer to demonstrate elephant tipping, after Ryan runs throught he lion cage.
As for shooting on Arthur Ave - should we be calling the NYPD? |

Sounds good to me. Hopefully there will be a Monkey Challenge scheduled that week.
I get the feeling, shooting on Arthur Avenue could be the best part of the day.

I'm dying to go but my assistant is on call for that weekend and I'm going to have do all my own work that weekend.......Oh man.. I love NY.....

lol yep I think I can make through really fast, if I get cornerd I will scare them off with my flash and get in a shot or two and run out really quick... lol so sign up so no one will miss it

OK Clearly we need some excitement here.
Ryan digitalpinshas volunteered to run through the lion cage. He swears he can outrun them. I'm not sure about that, but he's very skinny so they might not be that interested in eating him. Either way it will make for some great shots.

| Hello to you guys from Tennessee!!! I would love to go to the Bronx Zoo, it would be a great site to see,since I have only been to the airport in NY. It would also be great to meet new people from dpc, but I can't make it up that way being so far down south. I would love to see the pics though. I'll keep a watch on this thread and hope to see lots of those animal picts after your GTG. Hope you guys have good weather and lots of fun. |

| I do think its time for a GTG!! Sundays are best for me, but could be flexible, with Mother's day and Memorial weekend in May,probably after that may be best. I'll keep a watch on this thread, I'ld love to go! |

I would also speculate that many of the animals will be more active in cooler weather.
