Try submitting the picture to //www.ppchallenge.com. It runs in conjunction with dpc and is a good way to work on your own post processing.

As RainMotorsports said try scanning it at as high a res you can to get the best result, once you have that I would be willing to take a crack at it, I used to do alot of that when I worked in advertising...

Rescanning at the higest optical resoltuion of the scanner and then saving it as a Tiff or PNG will produce the best image to work with.

If you need a place to host the file so people can download it and email it let me know.

Well, I'm no expert at repairs but I do find them challenging. If you have a higher res version of it that you'd like to email to me, I'll have a go at it. It doesn't look too awfully difficult and it would be good practice. It's a very sweet photo. PM me if you're interested and I'll send you my email address. :)

I don't have an editor installed on this system, but the photo looks very repairable. Would/can you make a higher res. version available to avoid working with a compressed .jpg?

I am sure someone before I can get home to try will do something with it.

I have an old photo that i scanned of my grandmother holding my mother as a baby. I was wanting to know if anyone was interested in helping repair this photo. If there is money involved just give me a quote. Thanks for your support at a wonderful site.
