Bob,
I am SO happy to hear that your surgery went well & that you are home & well on your way to recovery! Before you know it, the swelling will be gone & you'll be back to yourself & shooting photos.... & this is a great time of year for inspiration. You seem to have a great supportive family, which makes all the difference in the world. Congrats on a successfull surgery!
Hugs,
Lori

I cried today, tears of joy in fact (real men do cry now and then), when my wife carried into our house a bouquet of flowers delivered to me. Even though my tumor is gone, I was feeling low because my nose still hurts like a son of a bitch and I cant breathe very well yet. The bouquet was sent on behalf of 'Your Friends at DPChallenge". You guys are the best, words cannot convey how much your gesture has done for my spirits. If anyone ever needs a hand from me, please let me know and I will do what I can, thanks again for being there for me.

I'm not sure you want the stints removed from your nose. *g* Springtime allergies are starting to hit my family with a vengance. We'd all love to have straws up our noses to breathe through. *g*

But my headaches have stopped and my vision seems to be improving. Thank you all so much, all my love.

Wow! That's great news Bob. You will be surprised how quickly you recover, just don't rush things, take your time and get better soon.

Steve

Two years ago today, I was in ICU, recovering after a 6 1/2 hour op, and believe me, it does get better :))

I didn't come across this thread until now so I'm sorry I was not able to wish you the very best before your surgery. I'm delighted to read that it went well and you are on the road to recovery.

Instead I shall send my strongest vibes for a speedy and painless recovery and hope that you are feeling back to your normal self as soon as possible!

All the bestest,
Kavey

Bob, just read this thread. Hope all is well, you will fight and get better, and come back here soon. From experience, one day you are doped up to the eyeballs, next, you are home and itching to get the camera going. Take your time recovering, and then realise how lucky you are to be alive and kicking butt.

Then, live your life for each day. That is the only one that counts!!
