I was wondering about smilies too. You guys don't have standard smilies in this forum right? So you just paste an image in your post or something? or have I missed a setting in my preferences?

Thanks for all the help;)

I finally figured it out - Zone alarm. Under privacy it has a blocking animations option.

I can now see the smilies moving and it's a whole new world.

*note to self - must get a life for Christmas*

Do any animations play in your browser? If not look in Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, about half way down under Multimedia there is a checkbox 'Play animations in web pages' check it, Apply, OK.

On my PC at home smilies don't move, yet at internet cafes they do...can someone PLEASE tell me how I can get them moving at home?
