I thought last.fm only counts songs listened to in their entirety...at least it seemed that way when I used it.

Last.fm counts anything played up through 50% of the song file.

These guys have been in my CD since we saw them live several motnhs back. Two guys with guitars and looping their own sounds as they go along. It ROCKED!!! They just moved to town and I am hoping that maybe they would let us do some photo shoots of them.

Hopefully I can arrange a photo shoot and get some tickets to the So. Cal show(s).

Les has one of the coolest visual personas in music.

I love the music. Good stuff all around. My favorite is that one about the pretty little ice cube, Mary.

I am not sure what scrobbling is. I hope it doesn't do something bad.

I suppose I will figure ( if anyone can help much appreciated ) out how to add my own music also my husband is not that keen cause he says it uses up bandwidth is this true ( we havwe a plan that we can only use a certain limit) if so how much would it use?

Not to worry. As you listen to music your own profile page will automatically update, and your contribute will feed into the group page automatically, too.

Dunno about bandwidth, but what I do know is that the AudioScrobbler does send something to last.fm so your "Recently Listened" stats will reflect what you are currently listening to. I'd think it was just a little pip of bandwidth, but I'm not sure. Maybe someone who knows more can pipe in?

There is probably a difference between submitting music to last.fm that you listen to through your own Media Player and listening to streaming Internet radio.

Last.fm has a strong forum on it just full of geeks helpful people, maybe they could help?

Me too... also on iTunes. Just finished listening to a recording of the Brahms Requiem sung by the Bellingham Chamber Singers, choir I sing with. Love choral music!

My taste changes weekly really, but lately I've been listening to:

the dresden dolls, the beatles, wolfmother, heikki, james figurine, the vines, frou frou, the white stripes and a bunch of random stuff from all over the place.

gotta love music :)
